Francesca Forno & Simon Maurano [nell'ambito del progetto Bergamo 2.035]

The goal of the project is to enhance collaborative effort to build a more locally based, self-reliant food system - one in which sustainable food production, processing, distribution, and consumption is integrated to improve the economic, environmental and social health of the community.
The research studies the international best practices and the ones of the province of Bergamo - like the grassroots initiatives and the network projects among different social actors (institutions, associations of consumers, associations of producers) - that deal with local and sustainable food production and consumption.
